Common Questions and Answers

How much notice is required?

This will vary depending on our baking schedule and what you are ordering.  We can accommodate rush orders but they may incur an additional fee. 
For most items, a week's notice is preferred. 

What are wedding  cake prices?

Each cake is different based on flavors & ingredients and complexity of design.  Price guides and info are provided and there are ways to keep your cost manageable.  Pricing for a small simple wedding cake begins at $2/serving.  Call for an estimate or more information.

How do I order?

There is a form on the CONTACT page.  Also, we can be reached by phone or email to discuss ordering.  (Note: any requests to change an existing do need to be confirmed.)

How many people does a cake serve?

This is such a common question.  Cakes can be made in multiple shapes and sizes. We will work with you to suggest the best combination to fit your needs.

What is a tasting or consultation and what does it cost?

For weddings – a tasting and consult is provided where guests can enjoy samples of cakes, fillings & icings. At the appointment we will work to achieve the design of your choice.  

Do you require a deposit?

For weddings – a deposit is required to secure your date. This amount is non-refundable but is taken off your final bill. For smaller orders and other occasions, a deposit is usually not necessary.

Can a cake be more than one flavor?

Yes - for events expecting 20 or more we can offer more than one flavor.  Some of our wedding cakes have been up to four flavors! (Note: if you serve more than one flavor, some guests like to try EACH additional choice.) 

Do you deliver?

Wedding cakes are delivered and set up for a fee calculated on distance and complexity of setup.
It is also possible to request delivery of other baked goods ordered.  Let us know what you need. 

Do you offer sugar flowers to decorate my own cake?

At times we do have an inventory of sugar flowers for sale. Or you may contact us if you want to submit a special order.

Can you work with our florist or wedding planner?

Yes. 
We will gladly coordinate arrangements with your representative(s).
