I find it is easier to work with when it is just warm. This also helps the crust stay cooler when you are working with it.

I’m making this recipe now for Thanksgiving! The sauce tasted great before putting in the oven. I used store bought ready to use pie crust so I’m hoping it will turn out just as good.
