I was looking for a collard greens recipe for dinner tonight and found yours. I only had bacon but it still turned out delicious. I can only imagine how much more flavor it would have had if I had used smoked turkey or ham like your suggest. Other than the meat I followed your recipe and loved it! Thank you for sharing!

What step do you typically add the seasonings and additional liquids? I’m not seeing in the directions.

These were great. It’s been a while since I cooked collard greens. They were a little spicier than I wanted but I was able to correct that. I used Chipotle which is a chili powder instead of smoked paprika in error. Definitely will a#d this to my favorites.
