Notes

How to store & reheat

I like to make individual drinks so I can store the butter mixture in the fridge. Add any leftover butter mixture to an airtight container. When you are ready to serve it up, just scoop and add your hot water and rum.
If you have leftover prepared butter rum, cool to room temp and add to an airtight container in the fridge.

How long will hot buttered rum last in the fridge?

You can store the butter mixture in the fridge for up to a week. Prepared leftovers will be kept up to 2 days.

Can I freeze butter rum?

For sure boos! You can freeze the butter mixture in portioned amounts using ice cube trays. Those cubes will last for up to 3 months plus it makes it easy to serve up.
